  • Ask before connecting, recording, or sharing another person’s story.
  • Change your privacy and friend settings whenever you wish.
  • Leave promptly when you want to step away.
  • Use local emergency services for urgent needs; this is not medical care, counseling, or emergency monitoring.

Community welcome and participation prompts

Before participating, consider:

  1. Why do you want to join, and what interests you about heart health, cancer awareness, or community support?
  2. Do you understand that the community offers support, education, reflection, and connection—not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, or emergency care?
  3. How will you contribute positively and help sustain a supportive environment?
  4. How will you protect member privacy and avoid repeating another person’s story or sharing confidential information?
  5. What connection do you have to Heart Beach Garden events, heart-health or cancer-risk education, caregiving, survivorship, or these topics?

Keep your answers private unless an enrollment form specifically requests them. Never include protected health information or another person’s details.
