A community agreement translates program values into specific expectations. It should identify the service provider, describe the purpose of the gathering, distinguish required and voluntary activity, and explain how concerns move toward review.
Describe scope and participation
Name the portal, directories, forms, gatherings, games, assistant pathways, and linked services covered by the agreement. State which activities influence internship requirements and which remain voluntary. Explain that presence may vary and describe any equipment responsibility.
Set conduct and privacy boundaries
Address respectful communication, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, impersonation, unwanted repeated contact, screenshots, recording, credential sharing, directory use, and redistribution. Pair each boundary with a visible report route.
Explain third-party services
Identify external platforms and clarify that their current interfaces, terms, privacy practices, age requirements, and technical availability also apply. Give participants direct links and current instructions while encouraging review of the controls displayed during each visit.
Preserve versions and acceptance
Record the authenticated identity, document version, stable text reference, acceptance time, and method. When a material term changes, request renewed acceptance while retaining the historic record.
